Salary: Competitive Contract: Part-time, permanent Working hours: 29 hours (breakdown to be discussed, but full-time hours on Mondays and Tuesdays) Accuracy, attention to detail, an analytical mind and a love for numbers are the qualities we are looking for in our part-time Payroll Assistant . So, if you have a natural aptitude for payroll (you must like calculations and processes) then you could be the right-hand person we need to help our Payroll Manager provide a professional in-house payroll service at our modern South Oxfordshire HQ . What you\’ll be doing as Payroll Assistant Working alongside the wider super-supportive HR team in the office, you will assist with the completion of two weekly payrolls covering around 550 employees over 15 sites, and monthly payrolls of around 300 employees. Your duties as Payroll Assistant will include: • Downloading new starters\’ details in preparation for import into the payroll system. • Checking overtime and bonus payments, holiday and sickness information, raising any queries with managers and chasing documents like Self-Certificates and Fit Notes. • Verifying timesheets, ad-hoc weekly bonus payments, expenses, holiday and sickness forms. • Calculating Company Sick Pay entitlements.<br…
