Are you passionate about driving complex engineered-to-order projects from concept through to successful delivery in a manufacturing environment? Then join us in our mission to pioneer smarter solutions for moving and transforming water, reducing energy consumption, and enhancing quality of life for people.

As our new ETO Project Fulfilment Manager, you will be overseeing all aspects of Engineered to Order project orders from customer order through to delivery, managing project plans, cross-functional stakeholder communication, and gateway management within an expanding ETO and Offsite Build solutions business. This role is based at our Sunderland office.

What you will be doing

As a key part of the ETO / Offsite Build Solutions team, you'll create impact by driving the growth and operational excellence of our expanding Engineered to Order business by ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards. Your main responsibilities include:

  • Oversee ETO project orders end-to-end — from customer order through production to delivery, including on-site snag rectification.
  • Establish and implement project plans, monitor activities, allocate resources, and assign tasks to ensure targets are met.
  • Collaborate closely with Engineering, Quality, Planning, Purchasing, Production, Distribution, Sales and Customers through structured project gateway management.
  • Conduct project meetings, prepare status reports, and manage stakeholder expectations — raising and escalating concerns in due time.
  • Develop and implement new processes to continually improve ETO business performance and organisational competences.
  • Monitor the project pipeline and forecast resource and capacity requirements to support business growth.

What makes you a great fit

Above all, you are a methodical and self-motivated project management professional with strong communication skills, a customer-focused mindset, and the ability to influence and coordinate across multiple functions in a manufacturing setting. We would also imagine that you have:

  • Several years of project management experience, ideally within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
  • Proven ability to manage defined project management processes including planning, gateway management, and stakeholder coordination.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with a structured approach to reporting and organisation.
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and strong IT competence.

It is a plus if you also have:

  • Experience working with SAP ERP business systems.
  • Degree-level qualification (preferable but not essential for the right candidate).
  • Industry experience within a large-scale manufacturing environment.

Why you will love working here

We care! Day to day, you can look forward to:

  • A working environment built around your needs, with flexible hours, home working opportunities and parental support.
  • Three days' additional paid leave for volunteering in your community.
  • Access to on-demand training and learning sessions and carefully structured programmes to pursue personal and professional development opportunities.

We are inclusive! Celebrating and valuing our differences helps us see possibilities where others can't. We therefore welcome and encourage applications from all abilities, experiences, and backgrounds.
