The Project Manager's primary responsibility is to drive European Industry projects from negotiation to final project completion, ensuring a profitable business and customer satisfaction. The project department is located throughout Europe, so a key success factor is the ability to collaborate with colleagues inside the department and with Sales Organizations in a truly international and virtual environment.

Your main responsibilities:
- Managing European project orders utilizing the agreed systems and project execution processes, in a timely fashion, acting as a project manager for those projects assigned.
- Preparing, scheduling, coordinating, and monitoring all aspects of the project: tasks to be done, resources, dates, costs, financials, etc., maximizing profitable sales through delivery of projects from order fulfilment to after sales to time, cost, and quality in a professional manner to the satisfaction of customers.
- Interpreting and clarifying, with support from others, technical, contractual, commercial terms and conditions, and required deliverables to comply with customer requirements whilst managing risk to Grundfos.
- Holding competent technical knowledge of industrial applications and products, Grundfos and 3rd party products, their advantages and benefits, and being able to professionally represent these to the customer.
- Being a main point of contact with the customer for the project, and handling customer issues if and when these arise while working closely with other departments.
- Monitoring compliance to contract, applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards, Health & Safety, and specifications. Following, adhering, and ensuring a high level of awareness to the Grundfos project execution processes.
- Going to site/customer visits and managing sub-suppliers and sub-contractors with supply agreements and ensuring alignment of service levels for projects to be delivered to time, cost, and quality.
- Liaising with local health and safety.
- Handling other ad-hoc tasks or projects as required.
Your background:
- Bachelor degree in Business, Project Management, and/or engineering combined with at least 3-5 years of relevant experience from a large international company working in a similar role.
- Experience from Grundfos (or competitor) working in a similar role would be a plus.
- English and Hungarian proficiency.
- Proven experience of quoting and delivering projects within a technically complex and dynamic environment on time, cost, and quality in the pump industry.
- Excellent business and technical experience, with a strong talent for enabling productive communication between groups.
- Knowledge of pumps, dosing, and disinfection systems.
- Experience in contract negotiations.
- Knowledge of different competences needed in projects – technical expertise, finance, logistics, contracts, quality, Health & Safety, ISO norms, export regulations, etc.
- Positive and resilient personality.
- Great people skills and highly empathic.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills verbally and in writing.
- Great stakeholder management skills - across borders and on all levels.
- The ability to work in a demanding and ever-changing environment where meeting time deadlines is a key task.
- Experience in working with CRM/SAP PS/BW, Office package, Gantt scheduling, Project management tools.
- Willingness to travel (approx. 20% of the time a year).
- CAD knowledge.
