Lead Finance Business Partner – Sunderland

Join us at Grundfos as a Lead Finance Business Partner (FBP) and become a key member of our plant leadership team, supporting multiple factories across Sunderland and Milan.
In this strategic role, you\’ll drive financial transparency, deliver high-quality analysis, and play a vital part in shaping business decisions and performance management. You\’ll collaborate closely with plant leadership and the global finance community to ensure financial excellence and operational success.
As Lead FBP, you will:
- Deliver complex financial analysis and high-quality performance reporting for the performance unit.
- Evaluate business cases and projects with an end-to-end perspective in close collaboration with stakeholders.
- Integrate performance management tools and methods into business dialogues.
- Act as a proactive business partner, constructively challenging and supporting the plant management team.
- Drive performance management through insightful analysis to support decision-making.
- Be accountable for all local finance matters, working closely with the Global ONE Finance Team on outsourced finance elements.
Your background:
- Master\’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- 3-4 years of experience in business controlling, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Advanced Excel skills; experience with SAP ERP & BW, Power BI, and VBA is a plus.
- Strong analytical mindset and structured approach to complex issues.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented attitude.
- A natural drive to lead, influence, and continuously learn.
