Role Overview
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Pastry Chef to join our production team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both hands-on pastry production and working in a fast-paced, growing business. You will be responsible for preparing, baking, and finishing high-quality pastries while maintaining strong standards of hygiene, organisation, and consistency. Both part-time and full-time positions are available.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, bake, and finish a range of pastries, entremets, etc. with Grué standards
- Follow recipes and production schedules to ensure consistency and quality
- Assist with daily prep, portioning, and packaging for pop-ups and shop supply
- Maintain a clean, organised, and food-safe kitchen environment (HACCP standards)
- Monitor stock levels and assist with ingredient ordering and storage
- Support product development and seasonal menu items
- Work efficiently to meet production deadlines
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Pastry Chef, Baker, or in a professional kitchen (preferred)
- Passion for pastry and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small, growing team
- Strong time management and organisational skills
- Knowledge of food hygiene and safety standards (Level 2 Food Safety preferred)
- Physically able to stand for long periods and handle a fast-paced environment
