Report to: CEO / Regional Head of Reporting (functional)
Responsibilities:
- Preparing monthly management accounts and other financial reports and presenting to senior management to aid with and advise on business decisions.
- Supporting the development of the budget and controlling the performance of the business, identifying opportunities to reduce costs and improve profitability.
- Leading the accounting closing process, ensuring the preparation of statutory accounts and supporting the Group's consolidation process.
- Developing and overseeing financial systems and procedures, ensuring they meet local statutory and Group's requirements (including VAT filings and payroll).
- Overseeing accounting/invoicing staff, providing guidance and support with day-to-day accountancy tasks.
- Supporting the regional and group finance team on improvement projects (including migration of ERP systems).
Education, experience and skillset:
- Partly qualified/Qualified ACCA/CIMA accountant.
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills whilst maintaining a strong attention to detail.
- Good communication skills, able to work with people at all levels.
- Ability to adhere to strict deadlines and work under time pressure.
- Advanced level in Excel, experience of Sage and/or Diamant are considered an additional asset.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
- Experience working in a group subsidiary and in ERP migration desired.
