GRS Recruitment is working with a well-established company in Limassol that is seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to join its finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional looking to further develop their career within a dynamic and supportive environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, managing daily accounting operations, and supporting the smooth running of the finance function.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain and update accounting records, including posting invoices and financial transactions
- Manage AR processes, including invoicing, payment tracking, and collections follow-up
- Prepare and submit VAT returns in accordance with local regulations
- Perform account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies
- Manage creditor accounts and process supplier payments
- Execute bank payments and ensure accurate recording of transactions
- Assist with month-end procedures, reporting, and other finance-related tasks as required
CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Previous experience in an accounting or similar finance role
- Good knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Experience with VAT returns and account reconciliations
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office
- Fluent in Greek and English
HOURS: 8.30am-5pm (Mon-Thur) and 8.30am-2.30pm (Fri)
SALARY AND BENEFITS
- €20,000 - €30,000 Gross Per Annum. Salary will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and skills. The advertised salary range is indicative, any offer will reflect the successful candidate’s suitability
