Overview
In your role as a Mobile Driver, you will be required to undertake your day's work at any of the following cluster sites:
- Langley - SL3 6ED
- Harefield - UB9 6PD
- Tyttenhanger - AL4 0RY
- Hatfield - AL4 0HT
Any need to change your daily working location will be confirmed the night before your shift (or a Friday if the shift is a Monday). You will be reimbursed any additional mileage travelled over and above your normal commute in line with standard HMRC mileage rates.
Responsibilities
- Deliver goods safely to our customers whilst maintaining full legal compliance using new vehicles with the latest technology.
- Operate flatbed trailers with loading aids to assist in the safety of transporting loads.
- Be able to provide cover on different types of vehicles including flatbeds and tippers.
- Provide cover across multiple sites within your cluster.
- Complete all paperwork on time to a satisfactory level.
- Assist management on site to enable better productivity.
Requirements for the Role
- Class 1 License CE (Preferably held for two years)
- Driver Tacho Card
- DQC card (Driver CPC)
- Good knowledge of legal obligations regarding operating HGVs
- Must be happy to work from any of the South West cluster sites
- Tipper experience would be an advantage
