Ocean Import / Export Coordinator
Our client is a fast-growing logistics company seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Ocean Import / Export Coordinator to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will manage the end-to-end ocean freight process across both import and export movements. You will ensure shipments are handled efficiently, compliantly, and to a high service standard, while working closely with clients, carriers, and internal teams.
Ocean Import / Export Coordinator Key Responsibilities- Manage ocean import and export shipments from booking through to final delivery
- Prepare, review, and process shipping documentation including bills of lading, commercial invoices, and customs declarations
- Coordinate with carriers, freight forwarders, hauliers, and customs brokers to ensure timely and compliant shipments
- Track and monitor shipments, providing regular updates and proactive communication to customers
- Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, customs requirements, and internal company policies
