Our clients span DTC, Amazon, retail, wholesale and multi-channel brands across all stages of growth—from launch to scale.

About the role

We’re looking for a hands-on Management Accountant to deliver an excellent experience to a portfolio of clients (4-8, depending on size and complexity), owning the end-to-end process from day-to-day financial operations, through to month-end close, management reporting & control, cash flow, and budgeting & forecasting. This is a varied, high-impact, client-facing role for someone excited to help challenger brands scale faster and smarter.

  • Produce monthly management accounts packs tailored to each client’s needs, including commentary and KPI dashboards
  • Maintain balance sheet schedules and reconciliations
  • Prepare and post journals for accruals, prepayments, deferred income, and stock
  • Establish and enhance internal controls and compliance

Finance Operations

  • Process and post day-to-day client transactions across AR and AP
  • Reconciling multi-currency bank, clearing account and payment gateways
  • Preparing VAT returns

Client Advisory & Business Partnering

  • Primary contact for your client portfolio, covering day-to-day queries and supporting with recommendations and insights
  • Provide weekly sales reporting, cash flow forecasts, and ad hoc analysis
  • Manage clients ‘accounts’ email inboxes
  • Collaborate with external accountants, bookkeepers, or in-house staff to align reporting
  • Assist with investor reporting, board packs, and due diligence as required

FP&A & Commercial Finance

  • Support the CFO with budgeting, reforecasting, and scenario planning
  • Develop and iterate forecasting models to inform strategic decisions
  • Analyse and provide insights on sales channels, customers and SKUs performance

Process Improvement

  • Identify and implement process improvements to automate and streamline workflows
  • Support system integration and automation between Xero, inventory tools, banks, and reporting software

What we’re looking for

  • Finalist or newly qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA)
  • Minimum of 3 years’ finance and accounting experience in industry or practice
  • Strong experience in both bookkeeping and management accounts preparation
  • Demonstrable experience working with inventory costings and valuations
  • Highly organised with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple stakeholders and client needs
  • Hands-on and comfortable working in both strategic and operational finance
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Effective client communication skills with the ability to explain financial concepts clearly
  • Comfortable working independently while collaborating with the wider team
