Growth & Performance Solutions is a construction consultancy that helps SME subcontractors across Scotland win work with main contractors. We support clients through every stage of tender readiness, from sourcing the right opportunities through to writing strong, compliant bid responses. We're a growing, hands-on business and this role sits right at the centre of how we deliver for clients.
This is an assistant-level, entry-to-junior role and no previous bid-writing or construction experience is required. What matters most to us is your commitment to growth, your writing and organisational ability, and your willingness to learn.
On day one, we'd want you to be able to research a topic and draft a first response to a question, using the digital tools. Within your first 12 months, you'll have become a confident, capable partner on live bids: researching opportunities, contributing to bid responses, and keeping our records organised and up to date.
What You'll Do
- Source and flag relevant tender opportunities from procurement portals
- Research supporting information, client history, contract values, past performance, to inform bid responses
- Draft first-pass responses to tender questions, using digital tools to support your research and writing
- Keep client records and bid documentation organised, accurate and up to date, handled in line with our Information & Data Protection Policy
- Support with general administration and coordination across live client work
- Take on new tasks and responsibilities as the business and your own skills grow
