Overview
Unlike traditional recruiters, Growth & Company is a consultancy first and a recruiter second. We work with founders and investors to advise them on growth, then hire the teams to deliver it. Our two Partners have more than 45 years experience in marketing and use that to help clients navigate complex issues - international expansion, team structures, launching new products etc. We hire people from our invite-only community of over 400 senior marketing people from the major startups in London, including Fyxer, Dex, ZOE, Uber, Revolut, Loveable, Gousto, Google and Meta.
We operate very differently to a normal recruiter as:
- 100% of our clients are inbound. We do no sales
- We have done the job before so can offer deep advice to founders, VCs and candidates on marketing. We are a trusted partner.
- We run a network of over 400 senior marketing people who we hire from (and hire for)
- We advise clients on wider issues such as how to structure teams, international expansion, remuneration and progression planning
- We have deep expertise in marketing and produce our own events and thought-leadership
Responsibilities
Given our very strong growth, we are looking for a recruiter to manage the delivery (candidate) side of recruitment. You will work closely with the two Partners to manage projects from the point of sale to the point of a perfect candidate starting. You will be building relationships with senior marketing people and working closely with founders and VCs on company growth.
What we are looking for:
- Experience in-house and at an agency
- Experience in tech-driven companies
- Ability to manage teams
- Smart and curious
- Strong at building relationships with senior stakeholders
- Driven, proactive and self-motivated
- Someone who lives in London and can be in the office or client meetings 2-3 days a week
We are open on the background and level of experience of this role, and will adjust the remit, expectations and salary accordingly. Also note that we do not need experience in hiring marketing roles.
Benefits
- A unique and very fast growing recruitment model
- Genuine partner relationship with clients. All of the work is exclusive
- Autonomy and freedom to run projects how you see fit
- Work closely with some of the most exciting startups in Europe including Fyxer, ZOE, Attio and Granola
- Strong bonus scheme to share the benefits of your work
