Our client, a fast-growing company in the fintech sector, is looking for a Head of Content to join their team in London. This is a senior, strategic hire reporting directly to the CEO and working closely with Growth, Events and Partnerships.
Please note that experience in the accounting or finance domain is essential for this role.
What you’ll do
Own and lead the content strategy end-to-end
- Define and execute the overall content strategy, from insight discovery through to production, distribution and optimisation
- Translate community insight into clear, opinionated narratives for finance teams
- Own the editorial direction and evolution of the company’s flagship newsletter
- Lead the creation of high-impact pillar content to reinforce category leadership
Develop and deliver high-quality content across formats, including:
- Reports and white papers
- Ebooks and long-form editorial
- Newsletter content
- Podcasts and video
- Ensure content is effectively distributed across multiple channels including community, email, web, partnerships and paid channels
- Create content designed to compound over time, supporting SEO, demand generation and long-term brand equity
- Work closely with Growth to ensure content supports acquisition, activation and conversion
- Collaborate with founders, product, customers and partners to surface strong points of view and industry insight
- Leverage events, partnerships and community engagement as ongoing sources of content
Who you are
- Fintech experience is essential, with strong domain knowledge in accounting, finance, or finance technology
- Proven experience owning and leading content strategy in a high-growth B2B environment
- A strong storyteller, able to turn insight into clear, compelling, and opinionated narratives
- Comfortable owning content end-to-end, from strategy and editorial direction to hands-on creation
- Experience producing content across multiple formats, including reports, newsletters and multimedia
- Strong writer and editor, with the ability to adapt tone and depth for different audiences
- Commercially minded, with a clear understanding of how content drives demand and business outcomes
- Highly organised, able to build scalable processes and turn ongoing insight into structured content output
- Confident working cross-functionally and engaging with customers, partners, and communities
