Our clients

We are specifically set-up to serve start-ups, scale-ups and high-growth businesses.

One of our clients is a rapidly scaling fintech. With existing clients and a strong pipeline – the business is now poised for growth.

We are therefore currently looking to add a Fractional CFO to our panel with specific skills/experience including:

• Fintech;
• Banking or asset management; and
• Series A fund-raising.

In addition to this the ideal candidate will demonstrate a number of the following:

• Significant financial experience from a blue-chip background;
• A finance qualification such as ACA, CIMA or CFA;
• A willingness to get involved at all levels – an ability to shift between the details/ process and the high-level strategic is key; and
• Previous FD/CFO experience.

The role

The assignment will be on a temporary and fractional basis around 4 days per month.

The assignment will involve taking the lead on financial matters and vary depending on the needs of the business at the time but will likely include:

• Assisting in the upcoming series A fundraise – providing financial and strategic input and liaison with potential investors;
• Developing a robust reporting structure, developing KPIs and board and investor reporting;
• Mentoring a senior finance manager (to be appointed);
• Managing bank/institution funding relationships going forward;
• Strategic advice and analysis; and
• Acting as a trusted advisor and ‘right hand’ to the founder.
