OverviewThe main responsibilities are to organise the picking or plants for dispatch to our four retail centres. The successful candidate must be able to manage a team and pick to a high specification.All candidates must be able to confidently manage and lead groups to get the workload completed. While not picking for distribution the successful candidate must also lead in order nursery tasks such as distribution to centres and general nursery workload.We can offer full training in all aspects of the job and while horticultural knowledge is an advantage it is not essential but good warehouse and logistics experience is welcome.The job is hands on and requires physical lifting and carrying so a reasonable level of physical fitness is required.All applicants will need reliable transport / lift to work as public transport is limited however we do provide free parking on site.The rate for this role is £15-£16 per hour which is the equivalent of £31,000 -£33,000.
