Our Garden Centre based just outside of Exeter City Centre is looking to strengthen its management team with the addition of 2 Payment Area Supervisors. These roles are responsible for the smooth running of the payment area including managing queues, resolving customer payment queries, processing customer refunds and exchanges, and managing the till operatives.

Candidates must be confident in customer-facing roles and have previous experience in retail management. Must have reliable transport to and from work; please check transport routes.

Details of this role:

  • We can offer rates of pay well above the industry average following completion of a successful trial period.
  • A long-term career in retail as well as plenty of opportunities to advance into retail management.
  • The starting rate of this role is between £13 and £15, which is equivalent to between £27,000–£32,000 per year.
  • Holiday is pro rata based on days worked – approx. 28 days per year.

This role is hands-on and physically demanding, requiring you to be on your feet all day and handle heavy lifting. A good level of physical fitness and a passion for active work are essential. Regular weekends and bank holidays are required to meet business needs; please do not apply if you can't work weekends.
