Role Description
The Finance Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Craigavon, responsible for overseeing day-to-day financial operations and supporting strategic decision-making. This role includes managing budgeting and forecasting processes, monitoring cash flow, and preparing accurate financial reports for leadership. The Finance Manager will oversee accounts payable and receivable, liaise with external auditors and banks, and ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations. The role also involves developing internal controls, optimizing financial systems and processes, and providing financial insight to support sustainable growth and investment decisions. Collaboration with operations, sales, and senior management is expected to align financial plans with business objectives in a manufacturing and horticulture-focused environment.
Qualifications
- Strong financial management skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
- Proficiency in accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Experience with accounting software and ERP or finance systems, with advanced Excel and data analysis skills.
- Ability to develop and maintain internal controls, process improvements, and risk management frameworks.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, including the ability to present financial information to non-finance stakeholders.
- Prior experience in manufacturing, agriculture, or horticulture sectors is an advantage.
- Professional qualification or degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA) preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to work on-site in a dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
