This exciting role is to join The Academy in an administrative function and play a key role in developing our people, driving high standards, and supporting team success! Operating across more than 700 sites, we are proud to be one of the top 100 fastest-growing independent companies in the UK.

If you are passionate about skills development, data accuracy, and helping others succeed, this role offers incredible career opportunities in an environment where your work truly matters.

The Role

As the Academy Data & Compliance Administrator, you will provide vital support across our systems, schedules, and compliance records. Working collaboratively with The Academy team, your focus will be on maintaining data integrity, coordinating key events, and keeping operational processes running seamlessly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Systems & Data Management: Maintain accurate records, manage systems, and ensure strict compliance standards.
  • Apprenticeship Administration: Oversee application, interview, and enrolment processes for incoming apprentices.
  • Scheduling & Events: Manage timetables, organise exams, and coordinate Academy events (including occasional event attendance to represent the business).
  • Communication & Marketing: Contribute to marketing materials and collaborate closely with internal stakeholders.
  • Safeguarding & Student Welfare: Provide and monitor effective safeguarding support for all apprentices.
  • Continuous Improvement: Actively contribute ideas to streamline operations and enhance administrative workflows.

Who we’re looking for…

We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated professional with a proactive can-do attitude and a genuine interest in data and continuous improvement.

  • Strong IT skills with a keen eye for detail and data accuracy.
  • Sound literacy and numeracy skills.
  • Exceptional organisational and time-management abilities.
  • Clear, confident communication skills across all levels of the business.
  • A proactive, flexible approach to meeting business needs.

We support flexible, modern working practices, including hybrid working and flexible scheduling, giving you the autonomy to manage your own diary effectively.

We strongly encourage applications from all backgrounds, particularly under-represented groups within our industry, including individuals from ethnic minority communities, people with disabilities, and LGBTQ+ candidates.

The Apprenticeship

We are committed to your ongoing development. In this role, we will fully fund and support you through a relevant qualification tailored to your experience, such as:

  • Level 3 Business Administration
  • Level 4 Data Analyst
  • Functional Skills Level 2 (English & Maths, if required)

You will receive dedicated support from an assigned assessor, structured training sessions, and dedicated off-the-job training time (minimum 20%) to build your portfolio and gain your qualification.

We expect all staff to share our commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children/young people, and an enhanced DBS disclosure will be sought by the company.
