Full Time Pet Nutritional Advisor/Assistant

We now have a full time vacancy in our successful Brockenhurst store.

Are you a keen animal lover with a passion for their wellbeing? We are looking for a keen, bubbly, chatty and enthusiastic person who is happy to help and chat with the general public and advise on pet nutrition and healthcare alongside all the other aspects involved in retail and sales.

This is a very busy and fast moving retail environment with a close supportive community as well as tourists therefore, you must be physically fit and be able to lift up to 20kg on a regular basis to assist customers to their cars with their purchases and deliveries. You will need to be IT literate and ideally have a basic understanding of a modern Epos system.

In house nutritional training will be given but you will also be required to study online courses with exams in your own time to a given timeline during your probabtion period. and work your way to achieve a Diploma in Canine Nutrition.

You must be smart, punctual and up for a challenge in this busy and often fast environment and able to work unsupervised once trained. The role does include working weekends (Saturdays on a rota\’d basis) with one other day in the week off.
