Position: Individual Needs Assistant (25 hours per week) with Midday Supervisory Assistant duties (5 hours per week) at Grovelands Community Primary School.

Location: Grovelands Community Primary School, Hailsham, East Sussex.

Hours & Salary: 30 hours per week, term time pattern. Salary: Single Status Grade 3 Point 7 (pro‑rota to £17,417). Actual salary £24,796 (pro‑rota to £17,417).

About the role: We are looking to recruit an energetic, patient and caring individual who has a passion for working with and supporting pupils with special educational needs, particularly in our High Needs Facility for Autism. Responsibilities & Qualifications: The successful candidate should be prepared to work hard, be a positive and productive member of the staff team and respond positively to the challenges of day‑to‑day school life. We expect high standards from our pupils and from staff; candidates should have evidence of quality practice, be able to make learning fun and believe that all children have the potential for success. Contract & Application: The contract is on a fixed‑term basis, however it will be extended subject to funding. Closing Date: 26th June 2026. Interviews: 29th June 2026.
