Grovefield House Hotel is looking for an enthusiastic and hands-on Guest Services Assistant to join our team.
This is a multi-skilled hospitality role combining Reception and Food & Beverage, ideal for someone who enjoys variety, meeting guests and being involved across different areas of a hotel.
What you’ll be doing:
- Welcoming guests and creating a great first impression
- Check-ins and check-outs
- Handling reservations, telephone calls and guest enquiries
- Assisting guests throughout their stay
- Supporting weddings, conferences and events
- Resolving guest requests quickly and professionally
- Serving guests in our restaurant and bar
- Taking food and drink orders
- Supporting breakfast, lunch and dinner service
- Bar and beverage service
- Setting up for functions, weddings and events
- Helping maintain excellent presentation and service standards
Who are we looking for?
We want someone who is friendly, confident, flexible and genuinely enjoys hospitality.
Previous hotel, restaurant, bar or customer service experience would be beneficial, but attitude and willingness to learn are equally important.
You should be comfortable moving between departments and helping wherever the operation needs you.
This is not a desk-only reception role.
