An established and Independent wealth management firm is seeking an experienced and technical Chartered Financial Planner to join its professional advisory team. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a client-focused business that places long-term relationships, high-quality advice, and professional standards at the heart of everything it does.

The successful candidate will work closely with an established team of financial planners, providing holistic financial planning advice tailored to individual circumstances and long-term objectives. There is a unique opportunity here to take on an existing book of clients to work with and build upon, alongside the firm continuing to generate lots of new enquiries through referrals and their brand. The ideal person would work with the clients on offer and look to develop these relationships and this book further over time. There is an experienced paraplanning and admin team to support you with the back office side of things.

Key Duties

  • Provide holistic financial planning and regulated advice across pensions, investments, protection and IHT
  • Conduct detailed fact-finding, cashflow planning and suitability assessments
  • Create and deliver tailored financial plans aligned to client goals and risk profiles
  • Maintain long-term client relationships through regular reviews and proactive communication
  • Ensure advice meets regulatory standards and internal quality requirements
  • Collaborate with paraplanners to produce accurate research and suitability reports
  • Stay up to date with legislation, market changes and best practice

About You

  • Ideally Level 6 Chartered, or Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning and significant progress made towards Chartered Status.
  • Proven experience advising clients and managing long-term relationships
  • A track record of developing relationships.
  • Strong technical knowledge
  • Collaborative, ethical and client-focused approach
