Our client is a rapidly growing environmental solutions company helping developers, local authorities, housing associations and infrastructure providers overcome water neutrality and sustainability challenges that impact planning and development. As a Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in expanding innovative water and energy efficiency solutions that enable sustainable growth across the UK. The Role

Key Responsibilities
- Business Development
- Identify and develop new opportunities across the water and sustainability sectors
- Build strong relationships with local authorities, developers and industry stakeholders
- Manage regional networks and client accounts
- Lead the preparation of high-quality proposals, tenders and funding applications
- Work closely with internal teams to support project planning and delivery
- Represent the organisation at industry events and networking opportunities
- Generate leads and build a strong pipeline of opportunities
- Monitor and report on pipeline progress and revenue performance

About You
We’re looking for someone who combines commercial drive with an interest in environmental solutions. You’ll likely have:
- 3+ years’ experience in business development or sales
- Experience working with local authorities, planning teams, environmental organisations or developers
- Knowledge of water management, sustainability or nutrient neutrality
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Experience developing proposals, bids or tenders
- Full driving licence and willingness to travel
Desirable:
- Knowledge of planning regulations or S106 agreements
- Experience producing tender or bid documentation
- Interest in energy efficiency, sustainability or decarbonisation
