We are currently recruiting on behalf of a growing environmental and utilities contractor for a proactive and customer-focused Water Efficiency Auditor to join their expanding team. This is a field-based role focused on helping customers improve water efficiency through property visits, installation of water-saving devices, minor leak repairs, and customer education. The role also involves local area engagement and appointment generation within non-household properties. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with practical hands-on experience who enjoys working independently, engaging with customers, and contributing to environmental sustainability initiatives.

The Role

  • Visiting non-household properties to carry out water efficiency surveys
  • Installing light-touch water-saving devices
  • Identifying and resolving minor leaks where appropriate
  • Providing customers with tailored water-saving advice and behavioural guidance
  • Recording findings and updates accurately using a CRM system
  • Supporting appointment generation and local customer engagement activity
  • Managing van stock and ensuring all Health & Safety procedures are followed
  • Working closely with supervisors and the wider delivery team to achieve programme targets

What We’re Looking For

  • Practical experience in plumbing, maintenance, property services, or other hands-on roles
  • Confidence communicating with customers face to face
  • A proactive and organised approach to work
  • The ability to work independently and manage your own workload effectively
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Basic IT skills and confidence using mobile devices or CRM systems

Essential Requirements

  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Access to a vehicle with business use insurance
  • Ability to pass a DBS check

Desirable Experience

  • Door-to-door engagement or canvassing experience
  • Previous experience within water efficiency, plumbing, utilities, or property maintenance
  • Basic Health & Safety or manual handling training
