Grove Road Primary School is looking for energetic people to become role models and join our skilled Playworkers at our busy but fun after school club. Owls Club is open daily from 3.00 - 6.00pm during term time only and includes over 80 students from ages 4 to 11.

Are you a confident communicator who feels comfortable interacting with primary school children as well as adults? Do you enjoy crafts, playing games, dancing or sports whether inside or out? Then you are just what we need for our team.

We would need you to model good behaviours and perfect manners during activities and meal times and keep our children safe and happy. Children can be messy so there will be an element of tidying up at meal times and at the end of the session so you must be willing to ‘muck in’ with your colleagues to get the school tidy and ready for learning the next day.

If this sounds like you then please get in touch, we’d love to hear from you. We are interviewing now for a September start.

Grove Road Primary School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expect all staff to share this commitment. The successful candidate will be subject to all necessary pre-employment checks, including: an enhanced DBS; Prohibition check; qualifications; identity (including online check) and right to work. All applicants will be required to provide two references. If you have lived outside the UK within the last 5 years, you will be required to provide a Certificate of Good Conduct or a police certificate from the country/countries you have resided in. Kindly note that this is at the expense of the candidate, as well as any costs involved for translating into English.
