As Grove continues its Digital Transformation journey, the System Administrator will play a vital supporting role in maintaining the performance, reliability, and security of our IT systems and infrastructure. This position works closely with senior IT staff and external service providers to ensure our core business applications and technology environment run smoothly and efficiently. You’ll be the first point of contact for day-to-day technical support, assisting users across the business and helping resolve IT issues promptly. You’ll also contribute to system maintenance, documentation, and ongoing improvements, gaining hands‑on experience with enterprise technologies and modern infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities- Provide first‑level technical support to internal users, resolving issues and escalating when necessary.
- Assist in the administration and maintenance of core business applications and IT infrastructure.
- Support the setup and configuration of hardware, software, and user accounts.
- Monitor system performance and assist with routine checks and updates.
- Maintain accurate documentation of systems, configurations, and support activities.
- Collaborate with external IT service providers to ensure timely resolution of technical issues.
- Assist with hardware procurement, inventory tracking, and new starter device setup.
- Coordinate with HR and team leads to ensure new employees have the tools and access they need.
- Certificate IV or Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Alternatively, completion of Year 12 with relevant IT experience and/or industry certifications.
- Experience in IT support, helpdesk, or system administration roles.
- Familiarity with business applications such as Pronto, Point of Rental, MYOB, or HumanForce is a bonus.
- Basic understanding of IT systems, hardware, software, and networking.
- Willingness to learn how to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Good problem‑solving skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Clear communication and a collaborative mindset to work effectively with internal teams and external service providers.
