About the Role

Reporting directly to the HSEQ and Systems Manager, the role is responsible for providing daily operational support for HSE compliance and risk management, assisting in implementing and maintaining Grove’s Integrated HSE management system, monitoring safety compliance, investigating incidents, recommending changes to policies and procedures, and generating HSE reporting.

Qualifications

  • Cert IV in Workplace Health and Safety Rehabilitation/Return to Work, or Injury Management certifications, desirable
  • First Aider (or be willing to undergo required training)

Experience and Skills

  • Minimum 2+ years’ experience within the manufacturing or construction industry is desirable.
  • Experience supporting the development and implementation of HSE policies, procedures and programs.
  • Experience working with computer systems and digital reporting platforms.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with excellent communication, interpersonal and decision‑making abilities.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Sound judgement and the ability to respond effectively in a high‑pressure environment.
  • Ability to influence and communicate with a diverse range of people across all levels of the business.
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 applications and mobile‑based systems.
  • A proactive attitude with a genuine desire to learn and develop into a successful HSE professional.
