We are a certified B Corp, plasticâneutral, and on a mission to transform the CPG industry for good.
THE ROLE
Grove is looking for a strategic and handsâon Senior Director of Product & Ecommerce to shape the future of our digital shopping experience. In this role, you'll own the digital product and ecommerce ecosystem â leading feature and content strategy, conversion optimization, engagement across our site and app, and retention programs â creating a customerâcentric shopping and education experience that establishes Grove as a trusted, missionâdriven destination for everyday essentials.
This role sits at the intersection of performance, strategy, technology, and storytelling: ideal for a dataâdriven leader who can balance creative experimentation with rigorous prioritization and optimization. You'll partner closely with Engineering, Merchandising, Marketing, and Analytics to deliver a worldâclass digital experience that makes healthy and sustainable living easy, rewarding, and intuitive.
WHAT YOU'LL OWN
- Lead and develop a highâperforming team of product management, UX design, site merchandising, and conversion rate optimization functions, fostering a customerâcentric mentality rooted in a culture of experimentation, ownership, and collaboration.
- Own the ecommerce product roadmap: strategy, planning, and execution, defining and delivering core journeysâhomepage, navigation, search/browse (PLP), product detail (PDP), cart, and checkoutâacross web, app, and the vendor ecosystem (search, reviews, personalization, recommendations).
- Scale adoption and impact of retention programs, improving customer LTV by developing program features, enhancing visibility, communicating value, and driving adoption of subscriptions, loyalty, and our VIP membership.
- Define our mobile app strategy, working across internal and external Engineering partners, Merchandising, and Marketing to build a customerâcentric shopping experience worthy of a monthly routine.
ABOUT YOU
- 10â12 years of experience driving ecommerce performance within a consumer brand or DTC environment, with experience directly managing the digital product function (experience including a mobile app is a plus).
- Proven track record of managing and scaling a Shopifyâbased ecommerce business â you're as comfortable defining strategy as you are getting into the details of site functionality and analytics.
- Deep understanding of the ecommerce funnel, conversion optimization, onsite merchandising, and digital content strategy.
- Strong leadership skills, managing highâperforming teams delivering meaningful revenue growth and business impact.
- Analytical, resourceful, and decisive â you turn insights into action and know how to test, iterate, and move fast.
- Experienced collaborator, skilled at aligning crossâfunctional partners across engineering, marketing, merchandising, and analytics around shared outcomes.
- Passionate about sustainability, human health, innovation, and improving the way people experience conscious commerce.
WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU
This fullâtime, exempt position is remote for candidates based in the following states: California, Maine, Pennsylvania, Nevada, North Carolina, Texas, Colorado, Washington, Illinois, New York, Missouri, and Massachusetts.
- Equity â shared success is core to our mission
- Flexible Paid Time Off â we care most about results
- Free VIP membership and 25% employee discount
- Working for a company that believes that a small group of people can change the world for the better by creating products and funding initiatives that help the planet!
COMPENSATION
The salary range for this role is $215,000-275,000. Our compensation bands are determined based on marketâspecific cost of living data, meaning that the top of our salary range is reserved for the most experienced candidates in the highest cost of living areas across the country. In addition to the base salary, this role is eligible for an annual incentive target and equity.
