Join to apply for the Junior Financial System Analyst role at Groupon

Groupon is a marketplace where customers discover new experiences and services everyday and local businesses thrive. To date we have worked with over a million merchant partners worldwide, connecting over 16 million customers with deals across various categories. In a world often dominated by e-commerce giants, we stand out as one of the few platforms uniquely committed to helping local businesses succeed on a performance basis.

Groupon is on a radical journey to transform our business with relentless pursuit of results. Even with thousands of employees spread across multiple continents, we still maintain a culture that inspires innovation, rewards risk-taking and celebrates success. The impact here can be immediate due to our scale and the speed of our transformation. We\’re a \”best of both worlds\” kind of company. We\’re big enough to have the resources and scale, but small enough that a single person has a surprising amount of autonomy and can make a meaningful impact.

About The Role

We are seeking a hands-on NetSuite Functional Support Analyst to join our Finance Technology team. This role anchors our first-line and partially second-line ERP support structure and is critical in ensuring a stable, user-friendly, and resilient ERP environment.

As a first-line functional support specialist, you will triage issues, maintain NetSuite configuration, and collaborate with accounting, finance, and external support teams. This is not a technical developer or integration role — but one focused on usability, process clarity, documentation, and end-user enablement.

You will also help design and deliver end-user training sessions, with a strong focus on documentation and proactive support. You must be proficient in English and comfortable working in a multinational environment. The role requires cultural sensitivity and occasional adjustment to U.S. working hours, as part of the broader team is U.S.-based.

What You’ll Do

Functional Support & User Assistance

  • Act as the first point of contact for NetSuite-related questions, issues, and requests.
  • Triage incoming ERP support tickets, investigate issues, and resolve or escalate accordingly.
  • Collaborate with business teams to ensure smooth day-to-day ERP operations.
  • Provide regular updates to management on issues arising from end users.
  • Coordinate with multiple departments within the organization to resolve any global issues.

Configuration, Month-End & Reporting

  • Support global month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close cycles.
  • Maintain and configure saved searches, roles, permissions, and dashboards.
  • Assist in preparing ad-hoc reports and support finance teams with reporting needs.

Training & Documentation

  • Design, prepare, and deliver training for NetSuite users globally.
  • Build and maintain internal training materials, walkthroughs, and support documentation.
  • Contribute to the knowledge base and promote user self-service.

Coordination & Quality Assurance

  • Participate in UAT testing for patches, updates, and new feature rollouts.
  • Collaborate with external vendors and internal teams to align on business needs.
  • Understand upstream/downstream data flows to help diagnose root causes of user-facing issues.

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor\’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field
  • 3+ years experience supporting NetSuite ERP in a functional, user-facing capacity
  • Deep understanding of finance processes (P2P, O2C, R2R, close cycles)
  • Experience configuring saved searches, workflows, permissions, and dashboards
  • Ability to design and deliver user training sessions (advantageous)
  • Strong documentation and communication skills
  • Advanced Excel skills (vlookup, pivot tables, formulas)
  • Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users
  • Proficiency in English and demonstrated ability to work in multicultural, international environments
  • Flexibility to occasionally align with U.S. working hours
  • Collaborative, detail-oriented, and proactive mindset
  • Familiarity with Coupa, Anaplan, or Alteryx is a plus
  • Exposure to Jira, Confluence, and ticketing systems preferred
  • Working from our Prague\’s or London\’s office in hybrid mode (2 days in the office, 3 days – home office)
