Role Summary and Impact

We are seeking a seasoned Systems Architect to lead the design, strategy, and implementation of our Agentic Intelligence cloud infrastructure, with a specific focus on architecting systems that enable seamless agentic workflows and intelligent agent interactions across our product ecosystem. In this leadership role, you will be responsible for architecting scalable, secure, and high-performing cloud and data ecosystems that align with the organisation’s business and technology goals, enabling the development and deployment of sophisticated agentic intelligence solutions.

• Define and execute the organisation’s data and cloud architecture strategy, aligning it with business objectives and long-term goals, with a particular emphasis on supporting agentic workflows and agent interactions.
• Develop architectural standards, best practices, and governance policies for cloud platforms, data infrastructure, and integrations, ensuring they are conducive to the development and deployment of agentic intelligence solutions.
• Lead the design and adoption of a cloud-native architecture that supports scalability, reliability, and cost-efficiency, while also providing the necessary infrastructure for agent orchestration and communication.
• Partner with business leaders to identify and prioritise initiatives that leverage data and cloud capabilities to drive value, with a focus on identifying opportunities for agentic intelligence to enhance our products and services.
• Design and implement a modern data architecture, including data lakes, data warehouses, and real-time analytics platforms, ensuring they are optimised for agent access and data processing.
• Ensure data platforms support advanced analytics, machine learning, and business intelligence requirements, as well as the specific data needs of agentic systems.
• Oversee data integration, data modelling, and data governance processes to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance, while also enabling agents to access and utilise data effectively.
• Establish policies for data security, privacy, and regulatory compliance across all data assets, ensuring that agentic systems adhere to the highest standards of data protection.
• Architect and oversee cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security, and scalability, while also providing the necessary resources for agent execution and management.
• Drive the adoption of cloud-native tools and technologies, including serverless computing, microservices, and container orchestration, to support the development and deployment of agentic applications.
• Implement cost-optimisation strategies to ensure efficient use of cloud resources, while also considering the specific resource requirements of agentic systems.
• Collaborate with DevOps and SRE teams to enable CI/CD pipelines, automation, and monitoring, ensuring that agentic applications can be deployed and managed efficiently.
• Design and implement architectures for agent-to-agent communication, ensuring seamless interaction and collaboration between intelligent agents.
• Develop strategies for enabling agents to interact with diverse data sets, ensuring they can access and process the information they need to perform their tasks effectively.
• Architect how we enable workflows across our products that leverage agentic intelligence, enabling agents to automate tasks, make decisions, and improve overall system performance.
• Evaluate and select appropriate agentic frameworks and technologies, ensuring that our architecture is aligned with the latest advancements in the field.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred).

10+ years of experience in data architecture, cloud infrastructure, or related roles, with at least 5+ years in a leadership or director-level position.

Proven expertise in designing and implementing large-scale data and cloud architectures.

Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and related tools (e.g., Kubernetes, Terraform, CloudFormation).

Experience with modern data platforms, including data lakes, data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery), and real-time data processing.

Proficiency in data modelling, ETL/ELT pipelines, and data integration tools.

Strong understanding of security, compliance, and governance for data and cloud platforms.

Hands-on experience with analytics and machine learning platforms/tools is a plus.

Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Experience with agentic frameworks and technologies (e.g., Langchain, AutoGPT, etc.).

Understanding of agent-to-agent communication protocols and architectures.

Knowledge of data access and processing techniques for agentic systems.
