We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Planning Executive. This is a full-time position based in London, reporting to the Planning Director. The role is crucial in supporting WPP’s mission to deliver consistent, excellent service for Amazon across its diverse businesses, including XCM, Prime Video, and RMI.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Media Planning: Develop foundational knowledge of media planning across channels. Learn about DE+I planning and carbon-conscious media. Use media systems and tools such as TGI, Pathmatics, AdIntel, Open AI, etc. Run and analyze reports, including competitive and audience insights. Maintain an inquisitive mindset to deepen understanding of media planning. Stay updated on industry trends and news affecting media.
  • Campaign Management: Learn the fundamentals of campaign management, including schematics updates, client communication, and creative coordination. Assist with financial processes like PO tracking, bookings, reconciliations, and queries. Collaborate with activation teams to deliver tactical plans and responses.
  • Effective Communication: Update internal and external status reports. Coordinate meetings with clients and creative agencies, preparing relevant documents. Work with your line manager to set objectives aligned with your role and agency goals.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Basic proficiency in MS Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Developing awareness and curiosity about media and marketing trends and challenges.
  • Ability to research and summarize industry information effectively.
  • Familiarity with industry tools like TGI, AdIntel, Pathmatics.
  • Ability to perform simple tasks independently and present findings to clients or team.
  • Experience in entertainment category and multi-market environments.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic setting while maintaining partnership focus.
