The Team: The EssenceMediaCom Search team works to effectively manage paid search campaigns to consistently deliver excellent results against client KPIs. We are a team of approximately 30 people working across various clients and markets. You’ll be part of the wider Google Practice, a community for all EssenceMediaCom UK digital experts, focusing on connecting the Google ecosystem and delivering top performance for our clients.

Intro to the role: As a Search Executive, you will be responsible for keyword research, campaign builds, performance monitoring, optimisation, and analysing data to write insightful reports. You will develop excellent in-platform knowledge, working closely with the Search Account Manager and Senior Search Executive to plan and execute best-in-class Paid Search strategies, continuously seeking new opportunities through research and cross-team collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performance Monitoring and Optimisation: Manage your assigned paid search client campaigns, ensuring effective and timely optimisation and continuously seeking performance improvements. Collaborate with the Search Account Manager to plan and implement top-tier Paid Search strategies, including activation and testing of new products. Assist with performance analysis, internal reporting, issue identification, and ongoing solution development within your team.
  • Working in your team: Support and collaborate with team members on implementation, optimisation, and activation of paid search campaigns. Communicate effectively with your Manager, client team, and contacts regarding deadlines and deliverables. Participate in client meetings and ongoing engagement activities.
  • Finance and Operational Procedures: Conduct regular campaign and budget checks. Identify gaps in achievement of goals and work with your line manager to improve performance and efficiencies. Ensure financial accuracy during client budget processes and reconciliation of ad spend.
