ACCOUNT OVERVIEW
OpenMind was recently awarded the ZEUR assignment for Nestlé Europe. With 47 countries, +450 team members, and regular new product launches, the account is looking for a Category Manager to provide Comms Planning and Account Management for XXX category.
OVERVIEW OF ROLE:
The Category Manager is an experienced media expert as part of ZEUR UK team, responsible for developing strong relationships with the UK Nestlé Category team, providing excellent Comms Planning skills and having the knowledge/skills to push innovative thinking as well as best in class planning. You will be an excellent communicator & manager to a Planner and Exec.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Onboard fully onto the OpenMind platforms & integrate with all key stakeholders.
- Build strong relationships with teams and clients.
- Work closely with the AD/SAD to develop a campaign brief.
- Gain trust of all internal & external stakeholders.
- Lead elements of some responses to brief.
- Positively contribute to the quality of planning output.
- Support the development of exceptional, award-winning planning work.
- Be a go-to source of energy and insight in the team.
- Support implementation of fewer, bigger, better strategy through Category holistic media strategy and measurement (including Retail Digital Media & Search).
- Coordinate responses across channels, thinking in systems not silos.
- Coordinate campaign best practice with more junior members of the team.
- Challenge the ordinary and help our team produce great work.
- Work closely with the SAD to review ways of working processes.
- Help manage the quality of the work that is taken to the client and ensure all reporting and finance processes and timings are adhered to.
- Become the trusted point person of your client peer level.
- Manage and develop your team, ensuring they are performing at their full potential and looking out for their wellbeing.
- Agree objectives with your SAD/BD to ensure constant progression.
- Contribute to OpenMind culture in the team – great planners with clear goals, objectives, and development plans.
- Work with GDS (Biddable Digital Team) to ensure they are integrated seamlessly within planning processes and implementation processes.
- Work with retail team to help integrate capabilities into everyday planning.
YOUR KNOWLEDGE & ABILITIES:
