What to expect?

  • Develop and deliver innovative sports nutrition products (RTM powders and functional concepts) from concept to launch
  • Manage multiple development projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, and customer requirements are met
  • Design formulations considering ingredients, flavour, cost, manufacturing, and regulatory compliance
  • Create, test, and approve prototypes, including shelf-life and performance optimisation
  • Collaborate with customers, internal teams, and suppliers to drive successful product development
  • Provide technical expertise and support across the business and to external partners
  • Support scale-up, production trials, and troubleshooting as required
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and contribute to innovation and new product ideas

Does this sound like you?

  • Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Chemistry, Product Development, or a related discipline.
  • 3-5 years’ experience in beverage formulation and product development, ideally with functional and sports nutrition focused drinks.
  • Knowledge of functional ingredients, flavour systems, and sweeteners.
  • Knowledge of UK food regulations and labelling requirements.
  • Excellent project management and communication skills.
