SII UK is seeking an experienced PMO – Integrated Risk Management (IRM) professional to support a major, complex engineering programme delivered onsite at a key customer location. This role sits within a structured PMO environment and focuses on risk identification, assessment, mitigation and reporting across programmes and workstreams. The successful candidate will operate with a high degree of autonomy, acting as a trusted interface between delivery teams, programme leadership, and stakeholders, ensuring risks are clearly understood, actively managed, and communicated effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish, maintain and continuously improve Integrated Risk Management (IRM) processes within the PMO framework
  • Identify, analyse and assess programme and project risks across cost, schedule, quality and delivery
  • Maintain and govern risk registers, ensuring accuracy, traceability and timely updates
  • Facilitate risk reviews, workshops and mitigation planning sessions with delivery teams
  • Monitor risk exposure, trends and mitigation effectiveness, escalating when required
  • Produce clear, concise risk reporting for programme and senior management forums
  • Ensure alignment of risk management activities with programme governance and PMO standards
  • Act as a key communication bridge between PMO, engineering, project management and leadership teams
  • Support audits, reviews and continuous improvement initiatives related to risk and governance
  • Operate proactively and independently within the customer environment while representing SII UK professionally

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Strong knowledge of Integrated Risk Management (IRM) within a PMO or programme environment
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work autonomously, taking ownership of risk activities and driving actions to closure
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail
  • Confidence facilitating workshops and engaging with multidisciplinary teams
  • Structured, methodical approach to governance, reporting and decision support
  • Proficient with PMO and reporting tools (e.g. risk registers, dashboards, MS Excel, PowerPoint, PM tools)
  • Professional, adaptable and comfortable working onsite within a customer organisation
