THE OPPORTUNITY
We are looking for an experienced refrigeration engineer to work within our busy and dynamic facilities and management team. The team you will work in consists of 16 people, with a combination of refrigeration engineers, electricians, plumbers, labourers and a gardener.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- The refrigeration engineer is responsible for day-to-day maintenance and management of the environmental stress screening chambers.
- You will fault find, support the planning of maintenance activity and program chambers to support product testing.
- You will also work on equipment such as laser wire markers, vibration systems among others for which training will be provided.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Safety conscious
- F gas qualified category 1 qualification from accredited body such as C&G, BESA, LCL or CITB (course code 603/1917/3 / 2079-11 or equivalent).
- Experience on Thermotron and Sharetree environmental stress chambers.
- Electrical competency for refrigeration systems.
- Ability to work independently whilst balancing multiple priorities.
- Good team player who can operate in a multi discipline environment.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
