THE OPPORTUNITY
SII are hiring a PMO Consultant to help improve and deliver our customers projects in the Aviation industry in Filton.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure alignment between project execution and contractual commitments
- Track and follow up contractual deliverables, milestones, and acceptance criteria
- Perform project and contract-level risk analysis and maintain risk registers
- Proactively alert the Contract Manager to risks, deviations, and emerging issues
- Support change impact analysis (scope, cost, schedule)
- Act as the primary interface with the Contract Manager, providing clear status and reporting
- Support governance, reviews, and audits with accurate project data
ESSENTIAL SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar PMO or project support role
- Working knowledge of Planisware / Unified Planning (UP)
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Proactive, dynamic, and able to work independently
- Clear and effective communication skills
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand complex project topics
- Flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced project environment
Desirable
- 3–5 years’ experience in a similar role, ideally within the aerospace or aviation sector
- Advanced or expert-level knowledge of Planisware / Unified Planning (UP)
- Professional certifications such as PMP or CSIP
