Job Overview: Supporting the SB&C Channel Manager, this is a key commercial role within the UK&I sales organisation, responsible for managing a portfolio of national accounts (including examples such as Costco) and delivering against ambitious growth targets. This role requires a modern, commercially driven mindset, with a strong focus on retail execution excellence and digital activation.

Key Responsibilities as an Account Manager at Groupe SEB:

  • Take full ownership of a portfolio of national accounts, including examples such as Costco, with additional responsibility extending to key UK and Irish accounts.
  • Accountable for delivering against sell-in and sell-out targets, with full ownership of the account P&L.
  • Lead the monthly and quarterly commercial planning cycle, ensuring robust forecasting, clear visibility of risks and opportunities, and decisive actions to deliver against plan.
  • Track performance vs. targets and proactively course-correct where required.
  • Drive best-in-class execution across all customer touchpoints, ensuring strong on-shelf presence, promotional excellence, and standout digital visibility.
  • Own the delivery of activation plans that convert—both in-store and across e-commerce platforms.
  • Champion e-commerce fundamentals including search visibility, content optimisation, availability, pricing discipline, and conversion performance.
  • Work closely with internal teams and customers to ensure products are “always on” and competitive in a fast-moving digital environment.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Marketing to design and deliver impactful go-to-market plans for new product launches and key trading periods.
  • Ensure alignment between commercial plans and brand strategy to maximise ROI.
  • Use data and analytics to identify trends, diagnose performance gaps, and unlock growth opportunities.
  • Provide clear, commercially grounded recommendations to internal stakeholders.
  • Work in close collaboration with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain and Finance teams to ensure aligned execution of customer plans and to resolve operational challenges at pace.
  • Actively contribute to weekly sales and supply chain forums, ensuring disciplined follow-up of actions, clear communication of risks, and strong execution against agreed priorities.

Qualifications and Skills required as an Account Manager at Groupe SEB:

  • Previous experience in Account Management with P&L accountability in an eCommerce background with eCom activation experience.
  • Experience with retailers such as John Lewis, Curry’s, Argos, or Very.
  • Comfortable utilising Marketing methods and other digital levers to drive competitiveness.
  • Possess an undergraduate degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Analytical and able to draw conclusions from data to take corrective action.
  • Effective organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and make decisions.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach to challenges.
  • Results-driven and motivated by objectives.
  • Entrepreneurial and willing to think outside the box to try new approaches.
  • Highly IT literate and able to demonstrate competent use of Microsoft Excel.
  • Problem solver with a “can do” attitude, whilst working cross-functionally.
