Job Overview

As the Demand Manager, you will lead the sales and operations planning process for the market, ensuring forecasts are accurate, robust and aligned.

You will work closely with Sales, Marketing and the central Supply Chain teams to build consensus around demand plans, support product availability and help deliver a high level of customer satisfaction while optimising stock levels.

Key Responsibilities as the Demand Manager at Groupe SEB

  • Lead and continuously improve the sales and operations planning process, proactively gathering and presenting the information needed to build reliable demand plans.
  • Obtain market-level consensus and validation of new sales and operations planning, ensuring diversified data inputs are considered before sign-off.
  • Manage the demand team throughout the sales and operations planning process, supporting performance, capability and development.
  • Ensure Groupe SEB’s sales and operations planning objectives and processes are implemented consistently across the market.
  • Analyse outputs generated through the sales and operations planning process, identifying risks, opportunities and trends to enhance forecast accuracy, minimise bias and support effective decision-making.
  • Identify and highlight significant deviations in forecasts or demand plans, recommending corrective actions where needed.
  • Partner with Sales to support short-term commercial opportunities and ensure medium and long-term promotional plans are reflected in the demand plan.
  • Help ensure and report on product availability, maintaining strong customer satisfaction while optimising stock levels.
  • Lead the construction of low-turnover and obsolete stock depletion plans, supporting effective stock management.
  • Represent demand planning priorities with key internal stakeholders and continental contacts.
  • Lead continuous improvement projects across the market, focusing on stronger processes, better forecast quality and problem-solving.
  • Act as a trusted Supply Chain Leadership representative in commercial reviews.
  • Qualifications and Skills required as the Demand Manager at Groupe SEB:
  • Demonstrable experience as a Demand Manager or Senior Demand Planner, ideally in consumer-led or FMCG environment.
  • Wider supply chain experience from a Consumer Electronics business is highly desirable.
  • Direct line management and people development experience is highly desirable.
  • Able to translate complex forecasting, demand planning and supply chain metrics into simple, actionable recommendations that support business decision making.
  • The ability to visualise & build dashboard reports using to present trends clearly to management.
  • Experience using O9 is highly desirable.
  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration, stakeholder management & communication skills.
  • Ability to influence decision-making at all levels and align conflicting departmental goals to balance revenue and inventory targets.
  • A degree with a Supply Chain/Logistics background is desirable.
