We’re accelerating our growth across the UK and are seeking commercially driven individuals who are passionate about innovation and technology to help farmers tackle real challenges and achieve measurable results. As a Technical Sales Specialist, you’ll have the opportunity to grow your accounts, build lasting relationships, and make a tangible impact on farm within a dynamic, entrepreneurial business. This is a field-based role where you’ll play a key part in advancing sustainable farming practices while driving the on-farm adoption of our premium fertilisers, soil conditioners, and animal nutrition and welfare solutions.

You’ll work closely with farmers and distributors, providing tailored technical advice backed by strong commercial insight, helping to improve yields, maximise ROI, and deliver long-term value. We’re looking for a locally based candidate in the advertised area with a strong understanding of UK farming practices and a well-established network of industry connections, enabling you to hit the ground running and make an immediate impact.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive new business and customer growth through proactive account management and field-based sales activity.
  • Build long-term relationships as a Trusted Advisor – understanding customer needs, providing practical advice, and delivering consistent follow-up to prove value and ROI.
  • Take full ownership of your accounts - using local insight to tailor solutions, build networks, and maintain a strong on-farm presence.
  • Deliver solutions, not products – diagnose customer challenges, recommend data-driven actions, and clearly demonstrate measurable impact.
  • Retain and grow accounts through regular follow up, data collection, and ongoing support.
  • Ensure ease and speed across the full sales cycle – from initial contact to delivery, application, and post-sale follow-up.
  • Use CRM to effectively manage pipeline, customer activity, and account performance.
  • Represent the business locally, strengthening brand presence and market development.
About You:
  • Based locally to the advertised location and comfortable working in a field-based role (5 days per week).
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • FACTS qualified, or motivated to work towards.
  • Passionate about sustainable agriculture and innovation.
  • Agricultural degree or relevant industry experience.
  • Commercially driven with a proactive, results-oriented mindset.
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and manage and grow relationships and accounts.

At TIMAC AGRO UK, you’ll go beyond simply selling products, working directly with farmers to deliver innovative, science-led solutions that improve performance, profitability, and sustainability on farm. Drive measurable on-farm impact with cutting-edge agronomic solutions, build trusted relationships, becoming a trusted partner on your accounts, and work for a global leader in innovation, backed by strong R&D. Enjoy structured training, ongoing CPD, and be part of a dynamic, entrepreneurial team where your contribution matters.
