NUXE, one of France’s leading pharmacy skincare brands, is seeking an Area Manager (Sell-In & Sell-Out) to join our growing UK team. This is a pivotal role in expanding our presence in the pharmacy channel and supporting key retailers with sell-out initiatives and education.
This is a field-based position covering the London area, reporting directly to the UK & Ireland National Sales Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with pharmacy partners through regular follow-ups.
- Negotiate commercial terms, shelf space, and secondary site visibility in line with company policies.
- Implement marketing plans to drive sell-out, including new launches, promotions, merchandising, testers, and sampling.
- Organise and execute pharmacy events, particularly during peak trading periods, with a focus on customer education.
- Monitor competitor activity and category performance.
- Analyse and review sell-in and sell-out data for your area.
- Participate in UK&I sales and cycle meetings.
- Conduct annual strategic reviews with top accounts.
- Coordinate annual training programmes across the pharmacy channel.
Key Account Stores (Sell-Out Support & Training)
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key contacts in-store (managers, beauty advisors, and floor staff).
- Support sell-out activities in major chains (e.g., John Lewis, M&S, Boots).
- Deliver training sessions and organise sell-out events.
- Ensure compliance with planograms and in-store merchandising standards.
- Train POS teams, implement incentive programmes, and motivate staff.
- Organise in-store activations and customer-facing events.
- Attend HQ takeover events organised by the NUXE marketing team.
Candidate Profile:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role, ideally within the beauty sector; pharmacy sector experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of both B2B and B2C dynamics.
- Fluent in English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven negotiation and influencing abilities.
- Skilled in delivering training and motivating teams.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
