Roles & Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle, attending meetings, site visits, and technical briefings as required.
  • Prepare quotations, cost estimates, and project documentation using HireTrack software.
  • Interpret, review, and produce technical drawings, layouts, and equipment plans to support project delivery.
  • Plan, coordinate, and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
  • Coordinate and handover requirements with internal Crew & Logistic teams.
  • Prepare and maintain Health & Safety documentation, including risk assessments and method statements, ensuring compliance with company procedures and legislation.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement solutions to ensure successful delivery.
  • Manage project budgets, purchase orders, supplier costs, invoicing, and financial reporting.
  • Liaise closely with technical teams to ensure Audio, Video, and Lighting solutions meet client specifications and operational requirements.
  • Provide on-site project support and operational oversight during installations, rehearsals, and live events when required.
  • Maintain accurate project records, produce post-event reports, and contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and service delivery.

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Project Manager with a passion for delivering exceptional live event experiences. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in technical project management within the live events, entertainment, or audiovisual industry, combined with strong technical expertise across Audio, Video, and Lighting disciplines.

Key Qualities & Competencies

  • Project Management Expertise: Strong project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple complex projects simultaneously, ensuring delivery within agreed deadlines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Technical Knowledge: Excellent knowledge of Audio, Video, and Lighting equipment and technologies. Experience with industry-specific software such as HireTrack, TeamTrack, AutoCAD, Vectorworks, and Soundvision would be advantageous.
  • Financial Management: Experience in budget management, cost control, and financial reporting.
  • Health & Safety Compliance: Good understanding of Health & Safety legislation, regulations, and procedures, with a commitment to maintaining safe working practices.
  • Communication & Stakeholder Management: Excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.
  • Problem Solving & Adaptability: A proactive and solution-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities and the ability to adapt to changing priorities and project requirements.
  • Organisation & Attention to Detail: Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to prioritise workloads effectively.
  • Teamwork & Collaboration: Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment, contributing to a collaborative and high-performing culture.

Education & Experience

  • Education: Degree in Event Management, Audiovisual Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: Proven experience in technical project management within the live events, entertainment, or audiovisual industry.
  • IT Skills: Good IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Language Skills: Fluent English, both written and spoken.
