Position: Finance Controller

Reports to: Senior Financial Controller
Purpose: Financial controlling of a portfolio of brands in LVMH Perfumes & Cosmetics UK & Ireland. Direct support to the Brand Managing Director, in charge of all financial aspects including monthly management reporting, budgets, and all ad-hoc finance analysis. Key business partner of the brand by providing insightful reports and analysis to support decision making and by challenging the brand when needed using smart benchmark & market analysis. Identify business risks & opportunities and alert or give constructive advice to business managers. Drive cost optimisation initiatives and process improvements. Ensure LVMH Group rules' compliance and appropriate usage of Company's assets.
Main Responsibilities:
- Strong interaction with the Teams of the Brand (Sales, Marketing, Merchandising, HR) and with the international Headquarter team.
- Budget & Strategic Plan: Pro-actively prepare and manage budget planning and review process, in line with parent company requirements and timetable. Assist on preparation of Landings and Monthly Sales forecast. Co-ordinate all operations teams input to Budget. Review & Challenge all elements of Budget. Prepare European Financial Budget Book, all analysis and financial elements of the Budget presentation. Assist in preparation of the 3-year plan in accordance with business strategy and company objectives.
- Monthly Closing / Reporting: Prepare monthly reporting for parent company in a timely and accurate way. Prepare monthly management reporting with executive summary for all relevant department heads. Provide detailed monthly analysis of sales and forecast. Preparation of the quarterly consolidated package (including Balance Sheet). Provide detailed monthly analysis of costs & analysis of main variances. Work with the Accounting Team, such as review of "parked outstanding/invoices" review of outstanding Purchase Orders, participate to the analytical allocation of invoices.
- Business Analysis: Analyse the overall delivery of Company financial targets on a regular basis and report back to the business with recommendations as necessary. Support the Sales and Marketing teams in monitoring expenditure and evaluate profitability of promotions and other initiatives. Analysis of profitability by channel, customer, by door, by commercial action and lines, and sales productivity, in accordance with Brand management needs. Assist the management team in ad-hoc business and finance control projects.
- Internal Control and IT: Participate in the implementation of Finance/ IT projects for the controlling functions. Support the internal control team with the implementation of procedures as necessary. Continually seek to improve processing efficiency and controlling capabilities of the Company. Provide any help required in relation with the annual external audit and any internal audits.

Profile: At least 5-year experience in a similar position within an international group, preferably in FMCG, retail, luxury business. Solid accounting knowledge. Interest in beauty & retail.
IT Skills: Excellent Excel skills. Experience with an ERP (Microsoft Dynamics is a plus).
