We are looking for an experienced SPS Subsea Control Systems Lead for the Absheron Project, a major offshore Oil & Gas development.
About the Role
SPS Subsea Control Systems Lead for a major offshore Oil & Gas development, responsible for subsea production systems and controls across major EPC / EPCI subsea projects, including international assignments and relocation.
Responsibilities
- Work on major EPC / EPCI subsea projects.
- Handle subsea equipment including trees, manifolds, umbilicals and control systems.
- Manage ICSS integration, HMI, ESD/SD logic, control networks and SPS interfaces.
- Oversee FAT, EFAT, SIT, qualification, pre-commissioning and commissioning.
- Support activities related to the Absheron Project during all project phases.
- Undertake international travel as required.
- Relocate to Baku, Azerbaijan for the installation phase in 2028.
Qualifications
- 15+ years of experience in Oil & Gas.
- At least 10 years in Subsea Production Systems (SPS).
- Fluent English is mandatory.
Required Skills
- Strong background in Subsea Control Systems / SPS Controls.
- Strong knowledge of subsea equipment including trees, manifolds, umbilicals and control systems.
- Experience with ICSS integration, HMI, ESD/SD logic, control networks and SPS interfaces.
- Experience with FAT, EFAT, SIT, qualification, pre-commissioning and commissioning.
- Strong understanding of international standards including API, ISO and DNV.
Preferred Skills
- TotalEnergies and Baker Hughes experience is an advantage.
- Bristol/Nailsea, UK initially.
- Relocation to Baku, Azerbaijan for the installation phase in 2028.
- Start October 2026.
- Initial 12-month contract, renewable up to 3 years
