We are seeking a Corrosion and Coating Engineer to support a large-scale upstream project in its execution phase. The successful candidate will oversee corrosion, coating, PFP, insulation, and GRE activities within the CPF2 engineering team, ensuring compliance with technical and HSE standards throughout procurement, fabrication, and construction.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise engineering, QA/QC, and inspection activities related to coatings and corrosion protection systems
- Lead reviews of contractor/vendor deliverables, audits, qualifications, and deviation requests
- Act as focal point for all corrosion and coating matters and liaise with internal technical authorities
- Ensure implementation of cathodic protection, coating systems, and materials in line with specifications
- Support inspection planning and ensure conformity to international and company standards
Profile Requirements
- Minimum 15 yearsβ experience in Oil & Gas, with at least 10 years in corrosion/coating engineering
- Role based in London office
- Knowledge of COβ/HβS corrosion mechanisms, international codes, and preferably corrosion modelling tools
- Degree-qualified in Engineering (or related field)
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a multicultural project team
- Fluent in English and Arabic (preferable)
