We are seeking an experienced HVAC Engineer to support the delivery of a large-scale oil & gas processing facility. The role focuses on overseeing contractor HVAC engineering activities to ensure compliance with project requirements, quality standards, and HSE expectations across the design and execution phases.
Key responsibilities include:
- Reviewing HVAC designs, drawings, and technical documentation
- Coordinating with multidisciplinary engineering, construction, and procurement teams
- Managing interfaces and design changes
- Identifying and mitigating technical and HSE risks
- Supporting technical reviews, audits, and responses to engineering queries
- Promoting continuous improvement through lessons learned and best practices
Professional Experience:
- Minimum 8 years of HVAC engineering experience, preferably within large-scale oil & gas or industrial projects
- At least 5 years in a senior role covering HVAC activities, ideally during the detailed design phase
- Experience in a similar oversight or lead HVAC position is highly desirable
Technical Skills:
- Strong technical knowledge of HVAC engineering practices and international standards
- Proven ability to manage HVAC engineering deliverables, design changes, and high-quality technical solutions
- Exposure to architectural design principles is an advantage
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, HVAC, or a related engineering discipline
- Professional Engineer (PE) certification preferred
