The role: The Digital Projects Manager will drive delivery of digital innovation and ensure the smooth operation of Clarins’ UK digital ecosystem, balancing operational excellence with strategic initiatives to elevate the brand’s premium omnichannel experience. Reporting to the Head of E‑Commerce and working with cross‑functional and global partners, you will lead projects to strengthen Direct‑to‑Consumer capability, enhance customer intimacy, support revenue growth across online and offline channels, oversee critical digital platforms, and coach the Digital Projects Assistant.

What you’ll do:

  • Lead delivery of strategic e‑commerce projects end‑to‑end (planning, testing, launch, optimisation) and implement checkout, payment and delivery enhancements to drive conversion, satisfaction and revenue.
  • Activate premium omnichannel experiences across Department Stores, Premium Outlets and stores by implementing CRM, loyalty and in‑store digital solutions (event booking, consultation tools), building business cases and ensuring commercial adoption.
  • Oversee maintenance and evolution of retail platforms (e.g., Booxi, Cegid, C‑Link), coordinate development sprints, and deliver communications and training to improve operational efficiency, Skin Spa/BeautyBAR services and platform adoption.
  • Own production and improvement of key digital and operational reporting (platform usage, customer engagement, NPS, gift cards, Skin Spa), surface actionable insights and support budget tracking for digital tools and suppliers.
  • Champion Net Promoter Score: monitor feedback across online and offline journeys, identify friction points, share trends with stakeholders and drive initiatives to strengthen customer loyalty.
  • Line‑manage and develop the Digital Projects Assistant, fostering a collaborative, high‑performance culture focused on continuous improvement.

You have:

  • Professional project management certification (such as PRINCE2, PMP or Agile) is advantageous.
  • Proven experience in digital project management within e-commerce, retail or customer experience environments.
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across all levels of the business.
  • A collaborative leadership style with experience mentoring or managing others.
  • Curiosity for digital innovation and a passion for improving the customer experience.

You are:

  • Experienced with project management and workflow tools such as Asana, Jira, MS Planner or similar.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with strong analytical capability in Excel.
  • Proactive with an analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Able to identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency.
  • Focused on high quality results with attention to detail.
