We are thrilled to partner with a dynamic, London-based property consultancy comprised of Chartered Surveyors who share a passion for the built environment. Due to continued business growth, they are seeking a qualified and RICS Registered Valuer to join their expanding Valuation Team, working across both residential and commercial property sectors.
Location: London Bridge (covering all of London)
Reporting to: Founder and Owner
The Valuation Team specialises in providing Red Book valuations for loan security and collaborates with a wide range of lenders. Typical assignments include valuations of flats, houses, multi-unit blocks, HMOs, commercial properties (with or without residential units above), and development consultancy projects.
Requirements
- MRICS / RICS Registered Valuer
- Minimum 2 years PQE
Key Responsibilities
- Undertake valuations of diverse commercial and residential properties
- Prepare Red Book valuations for loan security and regulatory purposes
- Advise property owners on redevelopment opportunities
- Conduct development appraisals and understand town planning considerations
- Prioritise and manage tasks to meet deadlines efficiently
- Deliver accurate, detailed reports with exceptional attention to detail
- Exercise discretion and professionalism in all dealings
- Prepare ad-hoc advice within tight timeframes
- Complete valuation tasks for review with senior colleagues
- Track valuations and associated fees, identifying profitability and growth opportunities
- Present monthly figures and forecast targets
- Explore and propose new valuation business verticals
