We’re seeking an experienced Workplace Facilities Manager to join on a 10‑month maternity cover contract. This role ensures that workplace and customer‑facing environments remain safe, clean, and consistently high‑performing.
You’ll oversee day‑to‑day soft services delivery, including pest control, waste management, and cleaning operations, while partnering with internal teams and external suppliers to maintain exceptional standards across the estate.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage soft FM services with a strong focus on pest control, waste services, and cleaning.
- Ensure all services meet brand, operational, and compliance standards.
- Oversee contractor performance, SLAs, KPIs, and service quality.
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify risks and improvement opportunities.
- Manage reactive and planned maintenance activities related to soft services.
- Ensure all FM activities comply with relevant legislation and internal policies.
- Maintain accurate documentation, risk assessments, and compliance records.
- Support sustainability initiatives, particularly around waste reduction and recycling.
- Build strong relationships with workplace teams, operational leaders, and external suppliers.
- Act as the primary point of contact for soft services queries and escalations.
- Work with procurement and contract partners to drive value and continuous improvement.
