About Your New Job

As an Intermediate Quantity Surveyor, you will:

  • Assist in the day-to-day delivery of a portfolio of projects across residential, higher education, and healthcare sectors.
  • Positively engage with clients, contribute to relationship building, and represent our client in a professional manner.
  • Support the development and delivery of cost management strategies, including cost planning, tendering, and contract administration.
  • Prepare and review cost plans, feasibility studies, and tender/contract documents under guidance from senior QS/Cost Managers.
  • Coordinate with clients, contractors, designers, and supply chain partners to help deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Support effective risk, change, and value management processes.
  • Assist with project reporting, claims preparation, and dispute resolution as required.
  • Contribute to the mentoring of junior team members and support business development initiatives.
  • Some UK travel may be required as part of the role.

What Skills You Need

  • Minimum of 3+ years’ relevant experience within a consultancy or contractor environment.
  • Qualified to at least degree level in Quantity Surveying or related discipline.
  • Progressing towards MRICS status or newly chartered.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work to deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience or familiarity with JCT and NEC contracts.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; CostX experience an advantage.
  • Ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team and support cross-selling opportunities.
